“Searching for the Messiah” will be the title of the new documentary that Goya Producciones has been intensively developing for several months. This international production explores the mysterious destiny of the Jewish people, divided between those who are still waiting for the Messiah and those who believe they have already found him.

According to Andrés Garrigó, director and founder of the production company, “this original project will explore questions such as: Why did God choose the Jewish people, and why is it the only one that continues to exist after more than three thousand years? What is the role of Jews in these turbulent times? And, more importantly, what does God have in store for them at the end of time?”.

The campaign offers rewards for those who support the project: from mugs and caps to being listed in the end credits and attending preview screenings.

The documentary combines re-enactments and footage from the United States, England, France, Switzerland, Italy, Brazil, Argentina, and Spain. The result will be a powerful film that touches the heart, revealing the mysteries and keys that link the Old and New Testaments, and answering the question: Who is the true Messiah?

“I would like to make it clear,” concludes the director, “that ‘Searching for the Messiah’ has no political connotations whatsoever; it is exclusively spiritual situated in the spiritual and religious realm. More than ever, we are living in dark times in which people are thirsty for truth and for a peace that only God can give. This film could be the spark that brings them closer to faith.”
