Life of Ana of San Bartolom\u00e9, inseparable companion of Teresa of Jesus<\/span><\/h4>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”20px”][vc_column_text css=””]This documentary explores the exceptional life of Blessed Ana of San Bartolom\u00e9, a humble peasant from Toledo who became the shadow of Teresa of Jesus. She was her companion, secretary, nurse, and confidante, and it was in her arms where the great saint of \u00c1vila wished to die.<\/p>\n

Ana of San Bartolom\u00e9 was chosen to establish the Teresian work in France and Flanders, where she became counselor to Infanta Isabel Clara Eugenia and a spiritual beacon for Europe during her time. She culminated her life in the Carmelite convent of Antwerp, from where her legacy and memory continue to spread.<\/p>\n
